This course will examine the Food and Drug Administration and the US Department of Agriculture regulations of meat and food products in the United States and the primary responsibility for the safety of these products. Topics addressed will include other food regulating agencies, food security, genetic modifications, additives, dietary supplements, and foodlabeling.
