Practice clinical evaluation/assessment and treatment planning for substance use disorders. Differentiate screening anddiagnostic tools. Demonstrate effective interviewing skillsto collect relevant patient history/data. Demonstrate diagnostic and documentation skills using current DSM criteria for substance use disorders, and utilize Wisconsin UPC guidelines. Write Treatment plans based on evaluation findings. Learners will complete interview and documentation practice, along with reading, written assignments and exams.
