This course will introduce the student to the Swiss screw machine fundamentals, multi-axis lathe operations, EDM machining, and other advanced machining concepts. Emphasis will be placed on the skill development for advanced machining processes using various CNC machine tools. The course will include performance competencies for machine set up, load proven part programs, setting tools, adjusting offsets, and set up.
