It includes the topics of measurement, chemical nomenclature, chemical reactions and stoichiometry, atomic structure, gas laws, thermochemistry, chemical bonding, kinetics, equilibria, electrochemistry and topics in organic and biochemistry. Qualitative analysis is included in the laboratory course.
