This course addresses the fundamentals of personal computer(PC) workstations hardware systems and the integration of operating systems used by business and industry into those systems. Course topics include: integration, configuration, troubleshooting, and documentation of PC subsystems including motherboard architecture, from factors, power supplies, IDE devices and removable storage, system memory, mutlimedia devices, I/O devices, BIOS and boot process, and video/display fundamentals, Additionally, the integration, configuration, troubleshooting, and documentation of commonly used (current and legacy) operating systems, as they relate to system hardware, is explored.
