150 134 - Network Infrastructure Cnspts
This course provides students an overview of the fundamentals of the infrastructure elements that support computer networks and devices. Learners will study the basics of network cable installation and termination, meter usage, direct current (DC) circuits, alternating current (AC) Circuits, AC wiring, uninterruptible power supply (UPS) selection, power conditioning, power management, power over Ethernet (POE), and digital logic. The course will be delivered via a combinationof reading and homework assignments, lecture/discussion sessions, and hands-on laboratory exercises. Emphasis will be placed on safety and compliance with industry standards.
