In this course we will examine the wide range of employee benefit programs available today. We will study the types of benefits required by law, the discretionary benefits that employers may offer, the employee services available, and the ever dynamic retirement programs offered today. An emphasis will be on health insurance plans, cafeteria and wellness plans, and a functional approach to employee benefit planning.A course outcome will be evaluating and assessing a companysponsored benefit plan.
